JIM MUTILATOR: A REMARKABLE RETURN

by MythofRock

Kawir has just announced on Facebook that Jim Mutilator (bass, ex-Rotting Christ, ex-Varathron) is going to join them on stage. That is going to happen at the Darkness Guides Us Festival 2019 in Glasgow, Scotland (23-24 November), which also features Impaled Nazarene and Ancient among others.

This news is the last from the camp of Jim Mutilator, who has made an impressive return in the black metal scene: he has already formed a new band, Yoth Iria, and is also a member of the Greek black metal act, Medieval Demon. Yoth Iria are now releasing their first EP (“Under His Sway”, via Repulsive Echo Records), where the vocals will be handled by Magus Wampyr Daoloth (Necromantia, ex-Rotting Christ, Thou Art Lord). Magus and Jim work together again after 25 years (since the “Non Serviam” album of Rotting Christ).

It is great that Jim Mutilator goes active again! Can’t wait to listen to his new music!!!
